☀️ 1. Sunlight

Bright light = red, dewy leaves.

Outdoors: morning sun + afternoon shade
Indoors: strong grow lights (12–14 hrs/day)

💧 2. Watering

Use:

  • Distilled

  • RO

  • Rainwater

Keep the tray filled with ½ inch of water.

🪴 3. Soil

Use:

  • 50% peat + 50% perlite
    or

  • pure long-fiber sphagnum

🐛 4. Feeding

Feed if indoors:

  • crushed dried bloodworms

  • tiny insects

Once every 2–3 weeks.

❄️ 5. Dormancy (Only for Temperate Types)

Tropical sundews (capensis, spatulata) = NO dormancy.
Temperate sundews (filiformis, rotundifolia) = MUST have winter rest.
